| i got accepted into the PCT program. I'm trying to schedule as many shows as i can around the class so i don't have to miss too much. this is going to be a busy summer. I'll be in class over 40 hours a week and i'll be playing lots of shows. we have 6 scheduled so far, we're going to texas, missouri and kansas. I also bought a stethoscope, which i'm super excited about. I can't wait to actually use it in a hospital, though. I think ive got about a month. woooo |

| i'm starting to realize spare time is a thing of the past. I guess it's the price i pay for being in a band and trying to become a doctor. I'm perfectly willing to deal with it. I'm getting ready to apply for the patient care tech program for the summer. I'll be putting in (at least) 40 hours a week for school, and i'll be booking as many shows as possible. I have to go to school every summer AND winter break. next year, on top of school and the band, i'll also be working as a patient care tech or nurse's aid. i'm actually looking forward to the patient care tech program. It will be a pain in the ass going to class and clinical stuff 8+ hours a day, but i'm excited to put on scrubs and a lab coat and learn firsthand in a hospital. |
